Looking back from 2026, I still consider Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass one of NetEase’s most interesting cosmetic drops. The structure was simple: complete challenges and play matches, earn Chrono Tokens, then spend them on a mix of customizable items and ten hero skins. But the quality range was huge. Some outfits are smart palette swaps; others completely rewrite a character’s silhouette and mood. So how do they hold up now? Here is my personal ranking, from the modest unlocks to the skins I would still happily equip today.

My ranking at a glance
| Rank | Hero | Skin | Why I remember it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Peni Parker | Blue Tarantula | Free unlock, bright blue-green palette, but mostly a color reversal |
| 9 | Scarlet Witch | Emporium Matron | Black hair and blood-red plus gold dress create a striking contrast |
| 8 | Moon Knight | Blood Moon | Black cape, red blades, true assassin energy |
| 7 | Namor | Savage Sub-Mariner | Golden spikes, crown, and a shimmering blue trident |
| 6 | Rocket Raccoon | Bounty Hunter | Ginger fur, red eyes, hat, goggles, and a hunter jacket |
| 5 | Magneto | King Magnus | Royal gold and black garments with war medals and a golden ring |
| 4 | Adam Warlock | Battle Pass outfit | Mysterious sorcerer look with a detailed tool-filled belt |
| 3 | Wolverine | Blood Berserker | Gothic vampire-hunter style with long gray hair and silver chain |
| 2 | Iron Man | Knight-mech suit | Medieval armor fused with futuristic mech details and red energy |
| 1 | Loki | All-Butcher | Symbiote fusion, skeletal armor, green energy, and long horns |
10. Blue Tarantula — Peni Parker
I have to start with the most modest skin in the pass. Blue Tarantula is not as flashy as the rest, but it is also available without buying the Luxury Battle Pass, which makes it essentially a free unlock. The skin reverses Peni’s original red and orange armor into a blue and green suit, and the result is a little more vibrant than her default look. Her own outfit shifts to match the SP//DR palette, but outside of that, the design is pretty close to normal. Is a simple color swap enough to earn a high spot? Not for me, but it is a nice extra customization option for Peni players who want something different without expecting a total overhaul.
9. Emporium Matron — Scarlet Witch
The biggest change here is Scarlet Witch’s hair, which turns from red to pitch black. I think that contrast works beautifully with the blood-red and gold dress, making the queen of chaos look even more eye-catching. NetEase clearly leaned into dark and fiery colors to match her personality and powers. It is not a massive redesign, but it is still jaw-dropping in motion and a great alternative for a dangerous Duelist.
8. Blood Moon — Moon Knight
Moon Knight’s usual bright white cape becomes a moody black with Blood Moon, and that alone changes his presence on the battlefield. He looks like he can blend into the shadows while picking off enemies from afar. The bright red blades are a clever touch, and one even appears on the logo on the back of his cloak. Thanks to strong color coordination and small details scattered across the suit, this outfit gives Moon Knight real assassin energy.
7. Savage Sub-Mariner — Namor
Namor’s regular outfit receives a serious upgrade here, and I appreciate the callback to his late 1960s Sub-Mariner comic change. He keeps his spiky single shoulder pad, but gains a jacket covered with golden spikes and decorations, plus a large crown that represents his dominance over humankind. Even his trident gets a re-skin, with the edge turning from bronze to a shimmering blue. It is a small redesign, yet it makes Namor much more visually interesting.
6. Bounty Hunter — Rocket Raccoon
Rocket receives an entire makeover with Bounty Hunter. His fur turns deep ginger, his eyes become bright red, and he gets a stylish hat, goggles, and a raccoon-sized hunter’s jacket. I really enjoy how this skin stands out without relying on explosive colors. It also feeds perfectly into Rocket’s obsession with money and treasure. Is this not exactly the kind of creative outfit that makes a Battle Pass worth grinding? For me, it absolutely is.
5. King Magnus — Magneto
Magneto easily upstages opponents when he struts onto the battlefield as King Magnus, the merciless king of Genosha. His glistening gold and black royal garments are decorated with war medals and ornaments, and even the giant ring on his back turns bright gold. He also looks younger in this skin, though he keeps his signature scowl. Somehow, King Magnus makes Magneto look even more intimidating. NetEase knocked this one out of the park.
4. Adam Warlock’s Battle Pass Outfit
It is not often that healer characters in shooters receive skins this epic. With a cape covering his shoulders and half of his face, Adam Warlock looks like a mysterious but dangerous sorcerer. He also gets a belt packed with unique tools, books, and weapons, and those small additions make the outfit feel detailed and deliberate. This is one of those skins that could convince a player to start learning the character just because it looks so cool.
3. Blood Berserker — Wolverine
Blood Berserker is a true standout, seemingly turning Wolverine into a Van Helsing-esque vampire hunter. There is so much to admire: the fashionable dark hat, the long buttoned jacket, and the small silver chain hanging from his waist. I also like the long gray hair, which works surprisingly well with the gothic vibe. As if Wolverine were not scary enough already, this skin is guaranteed to invoke fear in the enemy team.
2. Iron Man’s Knight-Mech Suit
This design merges medieval knight armor with a futuristic mech suit, and it feels like something out of an Iron Man fan’s dreams. There are tons of small details to notice, such as the skulls on the shoulder and knee pads, but the big changes matter too. His helmet becomes completely different, and the bubbling red energy shooting from his visor and chestplate adds even more vibrancy. This is arguably one of the best skins in the entire game so far.
1. All-Butcher — Loki
Loki already has an eye-catching design with bright green armor and a sinister smirk, but All-Butcher makes him almost demonic. Fusing with the primordial Symbiote, he acquires a skeletal set of armor with bright green energy emanating from the core. The most noticeable aspect is the Symbiote curling around his body and dripping from the tentacles on his shadows. When paired with the long horns stretching from his head, the result is amazing. And thankfully, it is the very first skin players can unlock in the Battle Pass.
Final thoughts
From a 2026 perspective, Season 1 still shows how wide NetEase’s cosmetic range can be. The pass mixes free-friendly palette swaps with genuinely transformative designs, and the best skins do more than change colors; they change how a hero feels. Would I still chase All-Butcher and the Iron Man knight-mech suit today? Absolutely. Those two remain the highlights of a Battle Pass that gave Marvel Rivals players plenty to talk about.
